Hillrock Solera - Aged Bourbon

Solera aging involves a pyramid of barrels where a small portion of whiskey is removed periodically from the lowest tier of barrels and an equal measure of new whiskey is added to the top barrels. No barrel in the Solera is ever emptied, and over time, the older whiskey in the Solera mingles with younger whiskeys to create unmatched depth and complexity.


  • Appearance / Color: Deep maple

  • Nose / Aroma / Smell: It’s sweet on the nose with toffee, ripe fruits, and exotic florals.

  • Flavor / Taste / Palate: The palate opens up with spice and more toffee before blooming with vanilla orchids, walnuts, cinnamon toast, and sultanas.

  • Finish: The finish is long and smooth with notes of butterscotch.
