Doppelbock is a German-style dark lager. Our Sir Doppelbock was aged in Vapor Distillery Boulder Bourbon Whiskey barrels for six weeks.

A strong first generation lager yeast was used at a high pitch rate to maximize lager-style crispness and attenuation.

Notes of toffee and roasted malts. Slight warming on the back-end. BOLD!
