GUINNESS GUINNESS
Draught The beer pours a very, very dark brown out of the bottle, then sits in its confines blacker than black. Even in the light the beer looked black, just plain black it was a sight to behold.
The head was thick, frothy, and a beautiful shade of tan; it had staying power and the lacing was thick all around the glass truly impressive.
The smell hinted of citrus with a strong but appealing malty scent.
Its mouthfeel was good as well no stickiness, bold flavor, and little carbonation to get in the way of enjoying the beer just the way I like it.
Its taste was very similar to other Guinness I have had strong, hoppy, malty, and just plain good. Overall, I was very pleased with this offering from one of my favorite brewers. (beeradvocate.com)
