As far as stouts go, this is a nice one. A lot of coffee forward with a chocolate backing. The oatmeal comes through shortly thereafter and you dont really taste the high alcohol content. Ive had a lot of stouts and this one is a definite favorite. The head is slightly disappointing as it stands up well after the pour, but rapidly disappears. The lacing is adequate. Good mouthfeel and you dont get the blah taste twenty minutes later from the high alcohol stout. Solid beer.
